When you type your Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) or password into wifiqrcard.com, that data is processed entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not have servers logging your credentials, we do not save your passwords to databases, and we do not sell or track your personal information.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Wi-Fi Credentials: Your Wi-Fi network names (SSIDs), passwords, encryption types, or house notes are never transmitted over the internet to our servers or any third-party infrastructure.
  • Uploaded Photos & Logos: Any router stickers scanned via our QR scanner or custom brand logos uploaded to cards are rendered solely in local browser memory via HTML5 Canvas and the FileReader API.
  • Exported Images & PDFs: When you download a PNG, vector SVG, or print-ready PDF, the file is assembled entirely on your machine using local JavaScript libraries (html-to-image and jspdf).

2. Local Browser Storage

We use your browser's native localStorage strictly to remember your UI display preferences:

  • Theme Preference: Storing whether you prefer Light Mode or Dark Mode (theme: 'light' | 'dark') to prevent visual screen flashing on page reload.

No personal data or credentials are ever stored in your cookies or localStorage.

3. Third-Party Services & Assets

To provide crisp typography and reliable performance, we load static font assets from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google Fonts may log requests according to Google's standard privacy policies solely to serve font binary files efficiently.

4. Global Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), individuals have rights concerning their personal information. Because wifiqrcard.com operates strictly client-side without storing user accounts or records on remote servers, we hold no personally identifiable information (PII) to disclose, modify, or delete.
